The shipyard is comprised of smaller parcels that allow the Navy to clean, test and transition sections to the city without needing to complete cleanup across the entire plot.

Parcel A is already in the hands of developers, but most of the shipyard remains under Navy control. The Navy has announced plans to retest parts of Parcel G, which it still owns. The plan calls for all Tetra Tech trenches to be retested.

The Navy provided NBC Bay Area with a map of Parcel D-1 with areas that appear to have been scanned by two other contractors.
