MULTIPURPOSE CASH ASSISTANCE

USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) and its partnered groups provide this assistance to help conflict-affected individuals meet basic needs such as acquiring shelter, home winterization, firewood and essential home repairs.

FUNDING FOR LIFE-SAVING FOOD ASSISTANCE

The World Food Programme (WFP) is gathering response rations and plans to assist up to 3.1 million people in Ukraine as well as 300,000 crisis-affected individuals in neighboring countries with BHA and other donor support.

HIGH THERMAL BLANKETS

BHA is providing the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) with in-kind winterization supplies and hygiene kits. These blankets support those vulnerable to Ukraine's harsh winters.

INTERAGENCY EMERGENCY HEALTH KITS

With BHA funding, the World Health Organization (WHO) delivered 10 interagency emergency health kits to assist up to 100,000 people. In addition, WHO sent five trauma and emergency surgery kits able to support at least 500 surgical operations in Kyiv.
