Whole Foods says that they are largely responding to consumer demand by carrying rabbit meat in its stores. However, figures obtained by the Investigative Unit show that sales have been slow. On any given day, Whole Foods sells between 1 and 3 rabbits for each of its 41 stores in the Northern California region.
